Effective communication is essential to create strong school-home partner-ships and to increase parental involvement

Also the manner in which schools communicate and interact with parents affects the extent and quality of parents' home involvement with their children's learning. Using this system parents are alerted about the upcoming parent-teacher meeting dates so that parents can block these dates for school.
